Ha! Aptasia X is on the way as we speak, my Molly Miller can't see it because it's hidden, so he's useless ATM.

Half tempted to remove the rock and the frag, but those cloves are so happy!

I see peppermint shrimp in my future... and lots of cussing.

Is take the frag out. Cut the plug with bone cutters and separate the anenome from the coral. Keep the coral. Toss the rest..cloves will recover and grow. Np

My best solution was filefish. I am not a re-home person though. I believe you should buy fish to fit your tanks environment or job. I loved my file, he died after 2 years. My peppermint keep them under control.

I don’t think you will ever eradicate once in the tank. I had them in my tank and got rid of them for 4 years. When conditions were right, they came back. Just takes 1 to hide in a rock.

I am chuckling reading all these. So I had one pop up in my sand this week. Former ones on frags got the burn or scrape and glue treatment! So, today I went after him and he disappeared! No luck. So I am planning my next stealth attempt to get him!

Like any thing that is supposed to eat certain things they CAN eat it, not will.

He eats everything, so I wouldn't put it past him, but HOPEFULLY I can kill this ONE and stop it in the bud.

But it seems like you are bound to get aptasia at some point in time, at least my reef is nothing but a few frags, and will be easy to spot those little suckers!

Filefish are cool too, but I'm not sure if they will attack SPS.
