Proof of concept decoration

So, I know the reef provides its own natural beauty and artificial objects are frowned upon, but I have this idea…

Ordered some rock carving Dremel bits and a small dragon ball as decoration. I hollowed out the rock so light can pass through. I’m going to mount a small light in my tank stand under this rock so it shines up through the dragon ball. What do you all think?

And this is going to be inside the tank? If so I'm not sure if it would be good for the fish. Corals probably won't care.
Not my cup of tea for the tank but the creativity of grinding it out is cool.

It’s a dragon ball! At the bottom of the ocean!? I guess we don’t have a lot of anime fans in the house. It’s very small and unobtrusive, I’m a goofy guy by nature, so this will add a touch of whimsy. I think the ball itself is an inch or less in diameter
