(Late edit: Yes I misspelled propagate in the title. Not sure where my head was.)

I have a large capnella (Kenya Tree) that is splitting into three stalks, all of which are too tall, and two of which are unnecessary. I would like to cut it back and still salvage the frags. I just don't know specifically how to do it. Should I take a razor and split the stalks to the base and then cut them off blunt, or just cut the heads off down to the natural split?

Once cut, how to I get it to attach, and to what? Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks. Should I split the trunk vertically along the naturally forming trunks, or simply lop the heads of, just above where the divide begins?

Yeah, I sorta misrepresented this post though. I really am not interested in making new ones, I am only interested in making mine smaller/shorter. If I get lucky and successfully frag a chunk, I will likely just donate it. Not sure if I want it popping off little heads.

JSB, thanks for starting this thread! I had the same question as my pineapple tree is getting way too big and I want to trim it some!
