Propagating vibrant

I asked on here about Vibrant colonizing a tank so you would not have to keep adding it since it is a bacterial blend and was told it doesn't happen.

+1 Many people think it’s carbon dosing and/or a nitrifying-type bacteria. It is not. I believe that this bacteria isn’t even meant for reef tanks but does work to eat algae before dying off, hence the need to dose.
