Proper Air Exchange Input Please

Co2 looks ok indoors with a high around 4-500. I was expecting much higher levels.
How are you measuring co2?
4 to 500 ppm is typical for outside co2 concentration.
Seems low for inside, unless a window is open.

I ordered a temp,humidity, co2 monitor. Seems to be working good.
These house is not exactly air tight. Dog door and dog in and out all day. Outdated windows etc. If I breathe on it or put it near dog it will shoot up. I'm feeling like its pretty accurate but don't have anything to cross check it to.
