When i set my tank up i bought my salt water from lfs, didn’t ck it that day ,when i added my fish i checked it, found it at 1.030, from what i’ve read its supposed to be 1.026, question will that harm anything and if it will how do i lower it properly, oh, also ck’d zero with some ro/di on the money, thanks

30 isn't going to kill anything. It will however increase with time and evaporation.
Adding in some RODI water slowly is your best bet.
I would use some airline tubing with a loose knot tied in it to syphon the RODI into the tank or sump until the desired salinity was reached

First be sure your salinity reading is accurate. You can drop it slowly. Take some water out each day and replace it with equal amount of rodi water. I do not know the size of your tank so cant say how much.

29 gal

Since most measuring cups are 32oz = 1 qt you could exchange that each day.
Other option: when you do a water change use water that has a lower salinity than your tank.
