My current refugium is too small and i want to upgrade.

So...

I just picked up 2x 20g tanks at a certain big box store selling tanks for $1/gallon. Due to my 150g having a short stand- 30", i have to get short sumps. I am looking for feedback about chamber size, baffle height, and how i can optimize my filtration.

My current equipment is
Bubble Magus NAC6
4" filter sock.
Refugium
Return pump is 1x QuietOne 3000

I have another of the same pump i was planning on using with a ball valve to control flow from sump 1 to sump 2.

I also have a quietOne 9000, but that might be overkill and an electricity bill killer also.

Current thought is to run the filter sock and skimmer in section 1 of tank 1. Then run the return pump from section 2 to tank 2 refugium.

I could make the fuge 15g, and have a 5g return portion.

Any feedback is appreciated.

The Triton method requires at least a fuge 10% size of the display. I think that is a good starting point.
