I have a C. lineatus in QT right now for almost a week. A beautiful specimen from the California facility of LA. I was worried about how healthy it would be before I got him. Eating like a pig. Hasn't hidden since day 1. In fact if he could jump out of the tank and slap me with his tail he would probably do it. I dosed Prazipro yesterday and will re-dose in a week. Should I consider using Metroplex? I have this as well as Focus. In the water or in food and for how long? Thanks

I wouldn’t dose with metronidazole unless there are symptoms that indicates it is needed. Prazi is a safe bet to just treat with. My big fear with wrasse is protozoan infections- people hesitate to use copper, then they end up losing the fish.

I was planning on just treating with Prazipro twice and then watching in QT for 6 weeks as long as he continues to eat and look healthy. He's the only one in QT and I'm in no rush to get him into the DT

Personally if it is doing well I would remove all medications; Wrasse are very sensitive to them, particularly fairy wrasses in my experience.
