Hi, I’ve got dreaded dinos and wondering if anyone can help with treatment. They’ve been identified as prorocentrum. I was told to dose silicates which I’ve been doing to no avail. It’s only been about 10 days so maybe I’m being impatient however things are not getting any better, slightly worse actually. Phosphates were 0.04 and nitrates were 12 last time I checked. I’m dosing up to 2.5 ml 40% silicates daily as of today on a about 170 total gallon system. Also dosing microbactor7 every 3 days. Running a 90watt uv plumbed to the sump and haven’t done a water change in about 10 days. Running fresh carbon. My snails are dying and my turbos seem to be almost paralyzed. They cannot move from the spot they’re in however they’re alive and come out to eat off the sand bed where they’re laying. I have been moving one around for about 2 weeks, which is very strange. My corals are not happy, my acan is dying. Fish are all fine. What more can I do? Everything is covered in dinos. I blow the corals off the best I can with a turkey basted but turn around and they’re back. Please help!!
