Pros and cons for dosing baked baking soda

How much would I have to dose for my 200g system? In 2 Weeks’s I went from 8.0dkh to 7.0 DKH recently seen that they dose baked baking soda using rodi water to mix. Does anyone know how much I would use and what are the pros and cons?

Baking soda is NOT just alkalinity (bicarbonate) and should not be dosed long term by itself. You need to use it in conjunction with Calcium chloride.

It is VERY VERY important that you understand the chemistry behind dosing 2 part and that you follow proper protocols. You will also NEED to be doing regular largish water changes. When you do your research and you will understand why.
