I have had a standard 75g with a 40b sump for about 5 years now. I have really been itching to upgrade to a 180 but keep talking myself out of it. I would need to buy more lights, build a new stand, find new sump and tank, etc. I remember reading somewhere that a 75 is the perfect medium for a reef when it comes to cost and maintenance and hear several say they wished they had stayed with a 75 in the long run. What are all your thoughts?

I wanted a 180-220. Went with a 120 standard and 40 breeder sump.
Nice size and equipment cost is pretty decent too.
Easy to resell if I ever decide on a real large tank.
Makes a nice reef tank
