I am looking at buying a bubble tip anemone for my reef tank. The only thing that is putting me off is that my favourite coral is attached to some Rock in a way that means I cannot move it. All of my other coral is free and easy to move out of an anemones way whilst if finds its footing but the Duncan is set in place and cannot be moved without damaging it.
I was thinking about the possibility of using a cup with small holes in to cover it until the anemone is in. The holes to allow for flow and the coral to still catch food and light.
Had anyone ever done anything like this or have any other advice on keeping the coral safe. I know some people would say it's only a Duncan but it was the first coral I ever had and kept alive and therefore had become my favourite.
