I cannot count the number of threads I have read where folks have had an anenome waltz into a powerhead to reinact a slapchop commercial.

I'm just wondering how it is one is supposed to go about rendering powerheads anenome safe? I would have thought the covers on most powerheads would be sufficient to block anenome incursions?

They make them for vortechs I think ...I’ve heard-tell of proprietary 3D printed guards .... not sure on the prices for that kinda custom work ...what kinda powerheads you got?

I suspect you will very likely get a useful competent reply on this one.... I’d keep bumping it a few times til you do (this bump was free, I’m charging for the next ;) :p )

Keep your rocks away from the panes of glass that have powerheads on them. BTAs typically won't move across sand, and healthy BTAs typically won't just release themselves.

Healthy happy anemones don't move much. (Unless splitting)

I am currently using media mesh bags. You want a pretty loose weave or it will require way too much cleaning. Remember, it only needs to big sized to keep a nem out.
