Hello all,
I have some aiptasia in my tank that I have been handling with F aiptasia. I can only find them if I look hard but I can never seem to eliminate them all. I want to go with peppermint shrimp to eat them but I vowed off peppermints after they decimated by acans, which are my favorite corals. However, I really want that aiptasia gone. Ive debated a few ideas but I got to thinking about enclosing the acans I have with something so that they peppermints cant reach them. Then after a few months, remove the peppermints to the sump and hope the aiptasia are all gone? Wishful thinking, idk.
I dont want to give up acans. I was thinking about trying a Kleins butterfly as well but the goal is to remove the aiptasia predator at some point so my acans can be free without being nipped at.
Does anyone deal with aiptaisa as it comes like I have been?
Any ideas or other suggestions are greatly welcomed!
Thanks!

. Also now I keep a butterfly as they are cool and they do eat the occasional aiptasia if any were to make it up. Hope this helps.
