Hello everyone. Long story short, I have a few corals in my tank that are not opening anymore. I have had everything tested from the water to the lighting. I'm starting to think something in the tank is picking on a select few (have all refs friendly fish) I was wondering if anyone had any ideas just for an experiment if there was something I could put over one if the corals and still let the light and water in but keep something from picking at it. I tried a clear cup but can seem to get it to stay. I don't have another tank or anywhere to move them. I figured you guys alway have some really creative ways of doing things. Thankd

I am actually working on a solution to this since I'd like to try a flame angel in my tank without risking some of the pricier zoas. My intentions are to make a cage of sorts to place a frag plug into. However, I am intending to use a 3d printer to custom print my cage. (Whenever it happens to arrive that is)

For more general purposes try to use some eggcrate and zip ties to make a cage. It will really depend on how big the thing picking on the corals is though as to whether that will work.

Get a small tupperware container with lid and with sharp object cut wholes in it but not big. And then put liverock at bottom of container towiegh it down and put coral ontop rock and wala!
