Protein Skimmate and Cyano

So I remember @vetteguy53081 and some others said that having a certain type of skimmate can prolong cyano or something or not help… I’m unsure. I forgot what thread it was on. Is this skimmate ok, and if it’s not, what should I do to the air valve?

I’m unsure if anything was wrong. I finally remembered to take a picture and see if it was so I decided to ask.

Hard to image a problem with skimmate. Your are pulling out the stuff that you don’t want in the aquarium with the skimmer. Looks like the skimmer is doing it’s job...

I thought so but just wanted to see if this was causing my cyano to persist or something vetteguy said

Looks like normal skimmate. At worse case, skimmer collect organics and if overflowed back into tank, will dilute and not cause issue other than brown water or odor.
