Protein skimmer: 125 gallon tank

I have a 125 gal. Reef i was thinking of a of a new protine skimmer i was loking at a reef octopus diablo xs 160 but i dont see to many in use on 125 i look at the diablo 225 but it is 8 in. Diamnter i dont have a lot of room in my sump i wood like to no if any of the members out ther have any 160 on 125 gal. And how they like them

diablo 160 would be fine on a 125g.
Have you looked at the SCA-302 ?

I love the Reef octopus skimmers. Go as big as you can though. Maybe get an external skimmer if there isn't any room in your sump.

They dont make the stands tall so you can get a protine skimmer in i have a 6 1n. dim. in ther do you have xs 160 on your 90 are you geting good skimate let me no thanks

I have a 125 I highly recommend this skimmer I have not had one problem with it works like a champ Bubble Magus Curve 9 I bought mine exotic-reefs.com

I would def go with the super reef octopus hy-2000 or the 3000 because The HY pump blows the other octopus skimmer pumps out of the water! I was told by SaltWater Empire that the super reef HY pumps are outstanding. I asked them because I was thinking on switching to the diablo, but they told me not to bother because the pump on mine HY is much better. I have even came across a guy who had a vertex alpha and a supper reef Octopus and he said the super reef Octo is noticeably better. That's saying something right?

I vidios on how to put the 160 and 225 octopus together they dont tell you how to get them in to the sump i have a reef dynamics 6 in.dim. And have to put together in the sump when they make the cabnet they dont give you the space to slide it in even if you lay it on it side i wood like to go with the 225 but it is 8 in dim. Hate to buy it and cant get in the sump ????????
