Protein Skimmer Delay Timer

Because of two disasters I recently ordered a SOS Zaya overflow stop and I'm also thinking of getting one of these timer delays for my skimmer from BRS. Anyone have any experience with them? Obviously we all like to throw our money and anything we can add to our set up's but How practical is this delayed timer?

They work great. I have a used one for sale. Updated my system to APEX, that's why it's for sale. Delays full operation after 2 mins.
