Hello, a few days ago I had a short power outage, before the outage my skimmer foam head was at the perfect level about halfway up to the collection cup. Now, after the outage it is creating a foam head, but it's about a foot lower then it was before. It's a Bubble Magus B12 (large skimmer). Is there any issue with having the foam head that low in the body? The pump is currently 3" or so submerged in water.

How long has the skimmer been running for without a cleaning? Only thing I can think of is that maybe there was a buildup at the venturi that was cleared when the power went out. A foot seems like a lot though. I'd put it where you think it needs to be, then adjust based on wet or dry skimmate.

If the foam isn't up near the collection cup, it's not doing much of anything.

About 2 months since last cleaning, cleaned it well when I moved tanks.
