Protein skimmer for jbj45

Hello all,

New to saltwater aquariums and just cycling my JBJ45 tank now. Looking for a recommendation on a protein skimmer. I have a 45 gal tank with AI Prime 16 lights and not looking to do anything other than some fish and soft corals. Would greatly appreciate the help.

The tunze doc 9004 is well rated and fits in your sump compartment, or you could look at the aquamaxx hob 1.5 protein skimmer. I also think hydor makes a protein skimmer that fits in the sump compartment.
