Protein skimmer for Quarantine Tank

I have a 20 gallon QT tank and i'm about to order a couple tangs for my DT. I know how sensative they can be and with my last purchase of fish my nitrates went extremely high. I'm in search of a HOB protein skimmer or a skimmer that sits in the tank. Any recomendations on a decently priced skimmer?

Blue Hippo
Yellow
McCosker wrasse
Midas Blenny and Valentini Puffer

All fish are catergorized as small. Do you thin this is too overstocked for a 20 Gal QT tank for a little over a month? I have a large sponge filter, well seeded with beneficial bacterial and the QT tank has been running for a couple months with a cobalt power head. I just want the best success with this batch of fish as possible.

You might want to look into the AquaticLife 115 Internal Protein Skimmer. This thing packs quite a punch IMO, especially for the price. GL.
