Protein skimmer help!

I started using my skimmer again in my 10 gallon and when I hooked it back up it starting skimming great then today it just stopped building skimate. Anyone have the same problem or know what I'm doing wrong.

It's a biocube skimmer

Did you fed shortly before it stopped?
Did you add any additives to the tank?
Was anything sprayed in the room?
Were your hands in the tank?

The surface tension of your water was decreased, which caused the bubbles to collapse.
