Hello. I'm a newbie and I just bought some used parts. This protein skimmer came with and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to set it up. Does anyone know a brand on this? All labels are worn off. Thanks.

It's an AquaC Remora in sump skimmer, I have one here next to me, the pump would go on the hose coming down.

Yes what ever is not skimmed up into the cup will travel out through there.

You adjust the skimmer cup up or down to fine tune the skimmer, there should be a rubber gasket around the skimmer cup to do this though they will break over time and a large rubber band will do the trick.

Put on a Cobalt MJ1200 pump and your good to go. I had 2 of them in the past years but the hang on back type and thats what they both came with. When they were in production, they retailed for $180.00.
