I’m hoping a member can help me identify this protein skimmer on my 55 gal tank. I believe it to be an old coralife super skimmer, but it needs the following parts as I’m trying to salvage it( if parts are not available suggestions how to make it work are greatly appreciated.

Inlet tubing, pump is an old rio 100 in sump( not sure how to measure what size that will fit pump & skimmer)
Outlet tubing
Bubble production diffuser
Black sponge
White filter pad

* or can I simply run an outlet tube into the sump? It used to have a sock on the outlet but my new reef maint guy said get rid of it.

It does appear to be a coralife skimmer..

I would post in the WTB section of the forum, someone may have a old one you could scavenge for the parts you need.

using a sock on outlet tube would help to reduce micro bubbles but if bubbles aren’t a issue in your system I see no need to do it.

Do yourself a favor and get rid of your maintenance guy. With the money you save get a new, dif skimmer
