My ps 160 protein skimmer is hanging on the back of my tank due to very limited room underneath my cabinet. I've had it in there for a couple of weeks and it's been fine. I set up a 10 gallon fuge tonight. And now (not sure if there is a circulation) my sump out put has tons if micro bubbles. Are these bad and how can I stop them if so? Please help!!

Could be, looks as if that skimmer is putting out a ton of micro bubbles itself, unless thats the return Im looking at in the first pic, in which that case you are sucking air from somewhere, thus all the micro bubbles from the return line.

Since you mentioned that the skimmer has been there a couple of weeks already and did not cause any problems, it could be your return pump sucking all those bubbles produced by your drain. Looking at the last pic, that is a lot of bubbles being produced by your drain. Do you have baffles in the sump? you can try and use a filter sock to at least trap some of those bubbles.

Yea there are 2 sections to the fuge and dry filter media between. The bubbles are definitely coming from the skimmer I just don't know what happen to make the start forming.

You just add anything to the water or to the sump when you set it up? Just feed the tank? Minor additions to the tank will drive some skimmers nuts.
