Protein Skimmer (LOTS OF BUBBLES)

I purchased and installed my Bak-Pak DP protein skimmer/ biological filter on thursday. Now, three days later i still have a good amount of bubbles being blown from the skimmer, is this something that eventually fades away or is that constant?

Pretty common and usually goes away after 1-2 weeks. Skimmer just needs to break in.

yeap totally agree, the skimmer will gain a film inside that will change the way the water and air move inside the skimmer. Some also run a small piece of foam on the outlet of this skimmer to help as well.
