I received a old protein skimmer/ozone reactor from a friend who shut his tank down a year or 2 ago. He had it running , I know it’s old, I would love to get this thing back up and going ! What do I need? Lol I don’t want to buy a new one. Please help me with this one

I’d buy a new one. That looks like it’s from the 80’s . Your going to be much happier with a new one. They really aren’t that expensive.

In line with @Hemmdog, I'd also recommend that you by a new (or at least a newer) skimmer - depending on your setup you may be able to wait a bit in order to get the best one for your system. I would also recommend that you skip the ozone unless you really know what you are doing and are confident in the functionality of your equipment. IMO, ozone can be helpful, but it can also do more harm than good (yes, I have had and run ozone on a 150g tank before). Good luck!

My setup is a 20 gallon with a wet dry filter setup. I’ll wait to buy a new one. Had a ich issue from a fish I got from a store so I had to quarantine my fish until mid July. I was told it takes 30 days for ich to clear out the display, I’m waiting 60 days
