Protein Skimmer pump Question.

I have an ATB 1059a skimmer that comes with an Airstar 1500 and it crapped out on me. Does anyone have any suggestions for a pump that could accommodate it? It’s $325 for a new Airstar which is just a fancy askol pump.

What broke? It's a jecod pump, but it so probably the same body that a lot of manufacturers use. At least that's what I'm looking at with this link. Did you try fish-street.com? They carry a lot of jecod and jebao parts.

look at the laguna pumps (askoll block). mojo may have some info on which laguna may work send him a pm. ATB US is pretty helpful but they may not want to steer you away from a sale. Wouldn't hurt to try them though and ask about the Lagunas

i doubt the 1050a uses the 1350 (powerful) but at least you may be on the right track.

Dude I ordered a variable 6octopus before I saw this post. ATB was useful as u said. He called back after saying no and talked with me abt the pump. I took his information and applied it to my kalkwasser stirrer that the motor was freezing on. Haha
