Protein skimmer question

Just want to know protein skimmer are Supposed to be on all the time or just when u need them

Okay so they stay on cool and what about the bubbles will it going away or will it always be bubbles coming out of overflow part of the skimmer

You should be able to adjust the level in the skimmer. How long has it been running?

the micro bubbles will decrease as the skimmer breaks in, a few days to a week give or take. I leave my skimmer on all the time even during feeding, the only time I turn it off is when it's time to clean out the pump and stuff.

Just got it set it up and started it up played a lil with air flow and I'm still Adjusting.
