Protein skimmer question

I have a blue ocean hob protein skimmer coming in the mail tomorrow for my 75g tank. The question is should I run the skimmer 24/7 and will it cause my corals to change any I have anything from bubble tip anemones to pulsing Xenia

Depending on air exchange now you may see an increase in PH.

Depending on how powerful the skimmer is... What are your nutrient levels like? I would ask how are your corals doing overall. If they are doing well with the current nutrient level, don't muck with it. The skimmer will only take away the nutrients you have in the tank right now.

Skimmers should run 24/7 unless there is a problem.
