Protein Skimmer recommendation

I recently downsized from a 250 Mixed reef to a 55 Mixed (No sump). Im looking at a Reef Octopus BH2000 but wanted to see if anyone else had a different opinion or feedback on a hang on back (yes i know they aren't as good as a true in sump or otherwise) Thanks!!!

I have the BH1000 on my 54g corner and it does a great job and I have had no problems over a year with it.

Either the Octopus or the Aquamaxx. Both are very good HOB.

I too use the BH-1000. On my 26g! Tis a beast!! Lol Great skimmer & very quiet.

I've used an octopus for 4 years. Buy the biggest one you can fit on your tank with the best pump you can afford. I bought the basic pump model and I ended up upgrading the pump down the road.
