Bulk Reef Supply rates that skimmer as 110 gallons for a medium stocked aquarium. The BRS web site rates skimmers for the volumes they can handle. A rule of thumb for skimmers is to get a skimmer that has more capacity than your tank needs. I think Peace River is right. A Reef Octopus 200 skimmer would probably be better. A good skimmer can run and run and run. So getting a good one off the bat can be economical.
