Hello guys does anyone have any recommendations on a protein skimmer my tank size is approx 525 litres cheers

How much money do you want to spend? For my upcoming 155, I'm most likely gonna get a Reef Octopus Regal 150 SSS. They're expensive, but GREAT quality.

Take a look at the Tunze 9430 dc.
Very underrated skimmer.
The neck and cup are attatched and come out as one unit.
I never adjust mine or turn it off when feeding or working in the tank. The head will recover on its own. As set and forget as they come. I run one on my ext 170 and a 9410dc on my ext 50.

I am not a fan of filter rollers but with that said you could use a 9410dc in combination with the roller with good results.
I have 2 used in the garage I picked up for <$200 each on ebay.
I also have a spare 9430dc. I always have backups and was going to get a 9430dc pump but found the whole unit for less than the $400 pump, lol.

They are very expensive in the uk I will have a look for a cheap used one on ebay I can get a brand new Bubble Magus curve 7 for £162
