Protein Skimmer

I'm in the market for a protein skimmer for a 220g tank and wanted to ask everyones opinion on what your running and your experiences with your skimmer.

Im an oddball. I have a Coralife Super Skimmer 220, but have it modified, and using a Mesh impellar pump, so it pretty much works like the big boys, after the mods.

If you have the coin the new ATI cone or the RLSS line of skimmers with DC pumps are awesome in my opinion. They are still half the price of Royal E or BK of the same ratings. RLSS has a volute-less skimmer, I think it's called the DB 10i, that looks sweet. Alas, I can't get one yet, maybe someday soon!
Also Vertex, swc, reef octo……

I never questioned your experience just looking for people who actually own and run the skimmer and not just word of mouth input that's all lol.

I literally just went thru the same decision and chose Bubble Magus NAC9...it's the best!!! You won't be disappointed I swear by it!!! Works great on our 220g

I have the new reef octopus DC1 and I love it. It works very well for my 125 gallons of water. They also sell a DC2 and DC3 for larger tanks. Worth checking out imo
