Protein Skimmer

I started it at half pump and air full open. I have had to turn the pump up to full as I make it earn it's keep and skim out biopellet gunk.

My Previous tank had a Bubble Magnus Curve5 (new build is using a curve7). skimmed like a champ, usually find them for around 180-200$

What's your thought on the curve 7? I'm have 2 of the reef octopus classic 150's, an old reef dynamics, and looking for something to replace that reef dynamics, considering the curve 7. The RO outperforms the RD, no matter which tank its in. In this tank I have 85 gallons of water volume, overstocked,.. trigger, eel.. high no3. I figure the classic for the money is tough to beat, but if the curve might perform a little better, why not give it a try for a little more.
