Protein skimmer

I’m not even sure I need a protein skimmer but if I were to get one what would be a good skimmer for inside the back of a cobalt c-vue aio 40 gal tank? Thanks

Since you are working with a tight space...

The company I like for my old nano was the Tunze DOC 9001 through the Tunze DOC 9012. I hope this helps in some way...

I I have been reef keeping for 22 years and can tell you in my opinion you need a protein skimmer. IMHO you should get the most powerful skimmer that you can fit in the foot print of your sump. This way In the future you can Pack your reef heavy and not have to worry.
