Protein Skimmer

So i have a vortex 200i omega, it is about a year old and stopped working. Took it apart soaked pump in vinegar over night, worked great (nice and clean) then stopped working again a month out, did the clean again and again worked for about 2 weeks And has now since stopped working again. i cant find a new pump and motor online so I’m looking for a dependable protein skimmer. What r u guys using that has lasted more then a year or two. Thanks

That’s a tricky pump to find. Askoll custom size for the 200i. Are you sure it’s broken? Have you reached out to vertex?

Life reef uses any pump. i have the same pump on my lifereef skimmer as my return.
