Protein Skimmer

Hello Everyone,

I need some help setting up my first nano tank, i would like to put my Fluval PS2 protein skimmer in my sump but seems the water level is too low for it or at least I think, water level is 16cm (6 inches) and on the manual says it water level should be as high a the housing of the skimmer which is above my water level. Any solutions or recommendations on other skimmers without breaking the bank ?

Use a different chamber or you can silicone some plexi glass to the overflow of the chamber to raise the water level in that chamber. Just make sure it isn't higher than the previous chambers over flow.
