Protein Skimmer

Do I need a Protein Skimmer setup from the Outset when the tank has cycled and I put a fish or two in? Budget Wise I can't really afford to get one until a bit after the tank is setup, Is this ok and long and Im not putting any Corals in yet?

You dont need a skimmer,
You might have to do a few extra water changes to keep good water quality
