I think i have narrowed it down to 2 skimmers for my 110g FOWLR. The bubble magus curve 7 or the vertex omega 150. Thoughts? Or suggestions

I gotta go with the Vertex Skimmer. The L/H Air Intake is no contest, the Bubble Magus has 520 and the Vertex has 850. I am unable to get the GPH on the Bubble Magus for a comparison there, so without it, Im going with the Vertex. Beast of an Air Intake.

I thought i read something about impeller issues with the vertech or maybe it was the bubble magus. At this point im not sure

I have the curve 5 and I LOVE IT. That says a lot coming from someone that has never had anything other than ASM skimmers. This thing has absolutely impressed me on every level.

Vertex for sure!!!
I have an alpha 170 for the big tank and I just got the omega 150 for the SPS tank build.

I loose....lol. Never had vertex but I have heard good things. Heck...all y'all just about have me talked into getting one now, lol.

AquaMaxx EM 300 you can get from Ocean in a Box for $299 and it works like a horse, small foot print, great surface contact time.

The build quality of the vertex is much better than anything else I've seen by any other builder. When you hold one in your hands you will know what I mean, how easily the cup comes off for cleaning, the edges of everything are polished and it's built much more industrial. Also I hate those nylon nuts on all the other skimmers and reactors. They use titanium screws, sure you need a screwdriver but way higher quality all around.

Thats what drew me towards them. As a diesel mechanic by trade I understand build quality
