Protein skimmers

Hi im new to this.im buying a red sea reefer 250 in black and i was wondering what protein skimmer you guys would recommend

First of all welcome to R2R. This is a question you'll get a lot of opinions on and your budget can have an impact on it. But I have a Bubble Magnus Curve 5 that I really like, although it's on a temporary system I use. Does a nice job, isn't too expensive, and it's pretty quiet. Just your first of hopefully many responses.

We will definitely want to know first off what your intentions of the tank are? how heavily are you planning on stocking it with fish? are we talking reef tank? FOWLR? Also what is your budget looking like? Will you have a sump that you can put a skimmer into? Or would you be required to use an external or HOB skimmer?

Im talking reef tank and not heavily stocked with fish.an internal skimmer not a hang on.

A Tunze Comline® Skimmer 9012 ($300) or Comline® Skimmer 9012 DC ($373) if you really meant internal.....but DOC Skimmer 9410 ($330) if you meant in-sump.
