So my eshopps psk-120 took a crap tonight. Going out tomorrow to get my new skimmer. What is a good skimmer with a small footprint my sump is 10x30 for a 75gallon.

Not sure but tagging alone to see. I have a 46 that will only be lightly stocked finished but I want to see what brand everybody likes. I was looking at an IceCap K2-50 but obviously for a 75 you would want more power

I will be going to all my lfs to find one. What model do you guys recommend

I've only used reef octopus but I was very satisfied with its performance and how long it lasted before I sold it. (Still working) al my friends use them as well.

You can't go wrong with the Icecap skimmer. I would even say you'll get better performance than the baseline Reef Octopus skimmers. The only RO skimmers I would say is equal to the Icecap is the Regal and the the RO Elite is better. But both cost far more than the Icecap because of the DC pumps. Plus the Icecap uses a standard Sicce pump, so it's readily available and unmodified (cheaper to replace).

The ONLY negative thing I've ever heard about Icecap skimmers is that some make a hissing sound on the air silencer. Ironic, being it's a silencer making the noise.
