Protos turning white

Has anyone ever had any of their protos turn white? This was not a lighting event btw. It was chemical or something.

Specifically purple death, nuclear greens or green death.
etc.

Were you able to turn them around and if so, how?

I've never had any of mine turn white.

i've had some lower end protos turn white, only because they got buried under some rubble.

i had a bunch of legions of evil polyps all turn white except 2x polyps (which i removed) the white polyps then melted but 2x removed were saved.... weird and i not know either why it happened.
