Pruning mangroves

Does anyone know how to prune mangroves? I want to trim mine but don't want to kill them if I do it wrong.

Yes, I have. To prune them use a sharp clean pair of scissors I use rubbing alcohol to sterilize them. Then when you prune them cut them right above the pair of leaves making sure you have at least one pair of leaves below it. If you prune them regularly they will grow out denser. Here is a pic of a mangrove that I pruned for a year. The one closest or on the right I did not prune the one on the back or the left is the one that I pruned.
