picked up my first frag today of fireworks psamm. not sure what the "net" looking silky web is. noticed it as soon as i put em in the tank 5 hours ago and still has it. when i feed him a little reef roidz it went down but when i turned flow back on it puffed back up.

Sometimes they will excrete a protective slime (not sure if that one does for sure) if not that, look for a vermitted snail they can spew a mucus web. Most likely give it a day or 2 and see if they open up and polyps out
 
Did you acclimate the coral to tank?
It generally does this when a sudden change such as temperature, salinity or ph occurs. It is a mucus released from the corals, which is a defense mechanism against desiccation. Corals coat their body with mucus, keeping in moisture to withstand severe environmental conditions.

Acclimated for about 45 to a hour. 1/3 cup every 5 min or so. Dipped coral Rx for 10 to 15. Possible temp drop... Was dipped with a zoa frag.
