Pseudochromis Compatibility

Newbie here, making a stocking plan. In a five foot long, 150g rimless tank, with a moderate amount of Puknai rock, is there a chance that both P. frimani and P flavivertex might co-exist peacefully? If at all, would it make a difference if they were introduced into the tank at the same time?

I had a fridmani albeit in a much smaller tank. Couldnt add anything I mean anything once he went in it would go after everything til it was dead.

It's possible In that size tank. then again they may try to kill each other. I have two dwarf angels In my 120 gal. and so far everything Is fine. It's always a hit or miss.

first, I am glad you are taking the time to develop a stock list..most people don't.

second, I would say no, as they are too mean/territorial, but the only way to find out is to do it..

the great thing about this hobby is there are no absolutes...for example, I have 6 large angels in my 375g tank, with 3 more in QT...people think I'm crazy, but <knock on wood> so far everything/one is getting along..

These guys are MEAN. You'll be lucky if you can add anything with a pseudochromis, let alone another one.

It's sounding to me like IF I want both, and take a chance, that I ought to wait till the end of my stocking plan, and include dotty backs as one of the more aggressive species, I'm also guessing that adding them at the same time may be of some benefit. Ultimately, I suppose if the fridmani turns out to be a mistake, I can try and remove it, although I would have no idea how to do that short of removing all the rock. How might a wrasse and/or anthias compare in aggression and compatibility?

I would expect pseudos to kill most anthias and probably fairy or flasher wrasses.

Honestly, I wouldn't get one at all for anything other than an aggressive community. They're one of the most common fish I see listed in the "what's the fish you regret adding most" threads - and a lot of them say "I haven't been able to catch it yet."

Same goes for most damsels and sixline wrasses, btw...they can be okay as juvies but have a nasty tendency to turn into little monsters.
