So this is a stupid question, but do you know where to get the adapter for a PSK-1000 pump to work on a MSX160 skimmer? I replaced the psk-2500 with the psk-1000 but every time I try to adapt it with a DIY option it leaks bubbles into the sump as the connection isn't all that good.

I am open to either better DIY options or just buying an adapter... Let me know your thoughts please.

What is a MSX Skimmer? I can't find it anywhere? Im a DIY guy, and could possibly throw an idea at ya, but everytime I look for the skimmer it comes up with the SWC Skimmer, and if its that, or kinda like that, doesn't the pump sit right under the bubble plate? How does that leak bubbles?
It just looks like you can cut off a few threads and install a slip thread pvc onto it.

SWC 200 is the same thing I believe. It's the cylinder skimmer with the pump mounted to the side of the skimmer. It used to be a PSK-2500 and I want to replace it with a psk-1000

The small unions would tie into the skimmer end, would they not?
