No matter what anyone tells you. No matter what you read. No matter if you don't think it is true. MAG floats on acrylic tanks will cause micro scratches, and overtime cause it to be hazy. I have tested it on acrylic in RODI water, used it for 1 hour on the same spot before. After noticing it on my tank.

Why am I posting this now a month after stopping use? I just cleaned my tank by hand, took 60 seconds to clean the glass with a normal pad. Everytime I do I am reminded of my mistake assuming acrylic safe mag float was just that, I used them tons in glass.

Got glass use it. Got acrylic? Get your hands wet for 60 seconds a day, it aint that bad and far better than micro scratches. Glad I quit when I did.

Luckily I quit using mine before it got noticeable looking straight on, but looking up from the bottom into the lights makes me angry. All because I didn't want to get my hands wet.

Anyway rant over. Hope I saved 1 person the shame I must live with every day. No one else has noticed, luckily. But no one really ever looks at a tank from bottom up. Thanks for your time.
