Public tanks in South Florida

Any public tanks you know of in south Florida?

There’s one in the pompano beach turnpike rest stop. When I get gas I’ll go in to take a look. There’s blue hippo, eel etc.

Salt water brewery has a couple as well. They need some love! But still fun to look at.

Any others you know of?

Do you mean public as in just out in about and there is a tank? There used to be a bar on Palm Beach that had a tank as the bar not sure if it's still there. The Science museum in Palm Beach county is cool and Ft Pierce has a set up from the Smithsonian that has a native reef setup. Stuart and Juno also have turtle rehabs.

Thanks, yeah any tanks that you see while you’re out and about. That’s right there’s the loggerhead turtle place in Juno, and also gumbo limbo in boca raton has a big 30,000 gal tank and a few other tanks.

I've never been to gumbo limbo I'll have to check it out. I haven't been south of Southern BLVD in years lol.

Lol must be nice! Too much traffic down here lately. I’d recommend a trip to gumbo limbo when you can. It’s quick, only an hour in and out type of thing, similar to the place in Stuart. Loggerhead doesn’t have turtles right now due to some mismanagement, so we went to gumbo limbo instead. Can’t believe it took me so long to go!

That aquarium bar was at the Breakers hotel. Pretty sure it was renovated and is gone.

Yeah I think their entire staff quit en masse
