puffer not eating

I got a blue spotted puffer a week or so ago and was eating everything i gave it.I did have a trigger that was bothering him but he was eating after i removed the trigger.It's only been two days and he is also hiding more than usual.I never saw it poop so i don't know about constipation.I'd like to figure this out as soon as possible if i can.It took me months to find this fish and it wasn't cheap online.

no i ended up using it for a breeding tank.I do have a tank with a frog fish but i heard they aren't good with meds.

I hope it was just nerves .I bought this fish because they are small and great tank mates.
